Welcome to the 4th Wessex Beer Festival
The Wessex Beer Festival is now in it's fourth year and to be held in the (generously donated) grounds of the Old Down Inn at Emborough. The Old Down is a 16th century coaching inn with plenty of character and is a perfect location to sample our beers and ciders.
Last year we raised over £6500 towards local and international charities. Please help us smash that record this year!
We hope to provide you with a great atmosphere with a great range of live music and superb quality ales. Our catering arrangements are much improved this year with a barbeque, hog roast and genuine good pub grub. The Festival is held over two days, and features a fantastic range of beers and ciders to keep everyone tasting until we close at 11pm on Saturday.
Yet again, early indications are that there will be a large demand for tickets, so please book early. Ticket allocation will be on a first come first served basis. You'll also save yourself a couple of quid a ticket by ordering in advance!
Opposite the new venue, only a short walk away is the Old Down Touring Park with full camping and caravanning facilities. You can book camping, along with your tickets, via this website.
As well as real ale, the Wessex Beer Festival will be offering a great range of ciders. There will be wine and soft drinks available from the bar in the pub.
The festival is organised and staffed by unpaid volunteer members of the Rotary Club of Somer Valley, and all profits will go to their charities locally, and internationally.
